Hoop House

Central School in-person students have been getting lots of fresh air and sunshine during their Library time in the Hoop House. We read about nature, Spring, and seeds, and then plant. So far we've sown seeds for spinach, beets, lettuce, carrots, radishes, mini-broccoli, marigolds, lupines, zinnias, and more using pots made from recycled newspaper or milk cartons. The vegetables will be served on "Try-It Tuesdays" in the cafeteria. In May, the whole school is looking forward to planting pumpkin seeds for a school pumpkin patch.
