4th grade classes along with a few 5th grade classes have been mentored by Dr. MJ in the practice of mindfulness. It is something that he believes in wholeheartedly and was informing teachers of all the benefits, so many of us decided to add it into our classroom practices. It is a great way to start or end the day, and it is a great reminder for everyone to pause and reset. 

Dr. MJ led a whole-grade mindfulness session where students were asked to share what they are grateful for before he started the meditation. Students and teachers really enjoyed this whole grade gathering, and it continues to be a benefit for the students involved. Check out some photos of 4th graders practicing mindfulness!
